Job Title: Assembly Line Production Operator
Salary: $17/hr.
The Albert C. Wiltshire Employment Center recruits qualified candidates for positions within the Brooklyn Navy Yard, a 300-acre industrial park housing over 400+ businesses within the manufacturing, food, media, technology, and creative fields.
A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based portable e-bike upgrade manufacturer is currently seeking a Temp Assembly Line Production Operator that are manually skilled and process driven team members to assemble the next e-bike upgrades.
The company is a consumer-tech hardware startup located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Biking is our passion, and our mission is to make cycling easier by offering the public affordable and accessible e-bike technology.
The main tasks will include:

Implementing manufacturing procedures that effectively satisfy quality and quantity requirements to assemble CLIP devices

Following guidances to quality check the assembled devices

Packing and Shipping assembled devices to our customers in the US.

Current university students or recent graduates open to gaining on-the-job work experience are highly encouraged to apply.
Hours of work: 40 hours/week, full time, in-person (Preferred)
Salary: $17/hour
Qualifications:

Experience in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering projects or students with a degree in BS/MS

Process-driven individuals who are able to follow guidance

Must know how to ride a bike
