A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based dry dock facility is seeking a Carpenter.
Responsibilities

Responsible for the construction of the Building Blocks that ships sit on while they’re docked

Help with finish work around the facility

Assist with the clean up of the Graving Dock

Assist foreman with any other items on his to do list
Requirements

GED/HS diploma
-
1-2 years of Carpentry experience

Bilingual (foreman speaks Spanish)

Comfortable with long hours (may have 18 hour days)

Ability to tolerate inclement weather
