The company is a New York City–based fabrication and design studio specializing in high-quality custom builds for cultural institutions, designers, and brands. From prototyping through production and installation, our multidisciplinary team ensures precision, durability, and thoughtful design at every stage.
The Woodworking Technician will be a skilled woodworking technician experienced in custom fabrication. Based in Bushwick, Brooklyn, our full-service studio focuses exclusively on fabrication and crating for the fine art community. We’re a friendly, fast-paced team that values quality craftsmanship and strong relationships—with both our clients and our collaborators.

Responsibilities:
-Cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces
-Set up and operate various woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers, and CNC machines, to surface, cut, shape, and/or fabricate lumber into wood products
-Assemble custom components to meet production and blueprint specifications
-Operate machinery such as sanding machines, shapers, and saws
-Ensure quality control measures are met throughout production
-Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace
-Assist with inventory management
-Collaborate with team members to streamline production processes
The ideal candidate will have:
-Proficiency with standard woodworking tools and equipment
-Working daily in a professional woodshop environment
-Ability to read and accurately follow detailed instructions and shop drawings
-A strong understanding of shop safety practices
-Enthusiasm for collaboration and being part of a dedicated team
-A high level of initiative, work ethic, and punctuality
-Willingness to take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
