Salary: $60K-$70k + commission

The Albert C. Wiltshire Employment Center recruits qualified candidates for positions within the Brooklyn Navy Yard, a 300-acre industrial park housing over 400+ businesses within the manufacturing, food, media, technology, and creative fields.
A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based set manufacturer for television and corporate events is seeking a full-time permanent Senior Salesperson to play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients, managing existing relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our sales department. The candidate will work closely with our production and design teams to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients in industries such as theater, film, television, corporate events, and exhibitions to expand our client base.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Consultative Sales: Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions through our scenic production and rental services.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, promotions, and market positioning, to achieve revenue targets.
  • Outreach: Direct and maintain public-facing communications including web and social media presence.
  • Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Proposal Creation: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the production and design teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in scenic production or related industry.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
  • Client-Centric: A strong focus on client satisfaction and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.
  • Creative Problem-Solver: Ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions to client needs.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and work closely with colleagues across different departments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
