Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Assistant
Employment Status: Full-Time
Salary: $18 p/h
A Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation employer partner is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Assistant to join their team. As the first online store to cater to DJs, we made our name by selling Technics 1200s and Shure M447s at fair prices. Fast-forward over 20 years, we are a company operating with the help of a great staff of DJs, Producers, and Musicians. With an expanded scope that includes HiFi stereo equipment and all genres of vinyl records, we maintain the discerning approach of a DJ.
Responsibilities:
• Follow established procedures for shipping our products
• Contribute to team effort by meeting or exceeding production goals
• Adhere to safety procedures while operating shipping equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
40+ hours a week
Monday-Friday 10am-6pm
Additional weekend hours available during holiday season!
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Physically demanding position/On your feet all day
Must be detail oriented
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Able to work in a team setting/Positive attitude
Interest in music is a plus!
