Job Title: Solar Systems Warehouse Technician

A Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation employer partner is seeking a Solar Systems Warehouse Technician. Our company is a market leader in portable solar power solutions. We design and manufacture innovative products that power IoT devices and consumer electronics around the world.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on team member to help test, assemble, and ship our solar products. This is a part-time role based at our facility in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, ideal for someone who enjoys working with electronics and being part of a collaborative production environment.
What You’ll Do:
● Test and evaluate products using precision tools and equipment
● Perform detailed quality control (QC) procedures on new and existing products
● Assemble and test solar systems as part of a small team
● Prepare and package orders for shipment
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
What We’re Looking For:
● Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or a related field preferred
● Comfortable using email and basic workflow or inventory management software
● Interest in hands-on work, especially with electronics or hardware
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
● Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
● Reliable, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

● Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation
