The Albert C. Wiltshire Employment Center assists Yard businesses and local businesses in finding part- and full-time employees, interns, and training opportunities at no cost. Partnering closely with employers, the Employment Center’s support varies from filling single job openings to working with employers to develop larger pipelines when they are undergoing major growth. In some cases, the Employment Center also works with employers to craft pre- and on-the-job training programs for incoming applicants and employees.
Hiring Support Services
The Employment Center can connect you to full-time, part-time, temporary, and permanent candidates for employment. The Employment Center identifies, screens, and refers candidates to businesses based on your specific needs. Entry- to mid-level candidates in all fields can be identified through our existing job candidate pool and through targeted partner recruitment programs. Additionally, the Employment Center also offers internship programs for college-bound and college-attending students. This provides students the first step in launching their career at the Yard and offers the additional capacity to our employer partners.
Training Services
The Employment Center partners with a consortium of experienced training providers to help businesses build a pipeline of workers and develop customized training programs. We will work with businesses to apply for existing programs, design new training programs, and find and onboard new hires.
