Technician / Junior Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Work with a small team of scientists and engineers. Perform CAD and CAM work, machining, component sourcing, component assembly, rapid prototyping, testing, workshop organization, workshop maintenance. Experience should include taking a “hands-on” approach to problem solving and the ability to work with complex assemblies that may include mechanical precision, high and low voltage wiring and hydraulics.

Skills & Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s or associate’s degree

·        SolidWorks proficiency

·        CAM software proficiency

·        Fabrication proficiency

·        Understanding of engineering drawings, schematics and build instructions

·        Understanding of precision measuring equipment

·        Communication and collaboration skills

·        Microsoft Office suite proficiency

Bonus Qualifications:

·        Marine experience

·        Robotics experience

·        Scripting experience

·        Python experience

·        Github experience
