A Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation employer partner is seeking a member to join the Events Crew. Our team operates rooftop farms, event venues, and green roof installations across New York City. Our Programming & Events team produces private events and public programming ranging from weddings and corporate gatherings to workshops, dinners, and community events.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
Event Crew support the execution of programming and events by handling the physical and logistical components of event production. This role ensures that venues are properly prepared, maintained, and restored for each event.
SCHEDULE:
Event Crew will work part time throughout the Season, roughly from April through November, with opportunities to work more as the season ramps up during late Summer through early Fall.
Thursday – Sunday evening shifts regularly anticipated during our primary events season and most hours skewing to the weekends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Set up and break down events according to event plans
-Move furniture and equipment as needed
-Assist with vendor and rental load-in and load-out
-Maintain cleanliness and facilities throughout events
-Operate elevators and support logistical flow
-Represent our comapny to guests in a welcoming and professional manner
-Support Event Captains and EOS with additional onsite tasks as needed
